ABOUT US

Friends have suggested that we include in our web site a little about who we are. Gerri and I live in one of the most beautiful parts of the country. We have a small home just outside the town of Sevierville, Tennessee, on the north side of the Smoky Mountain National Park. We have only been here a short time but feel very much at home due to the friendly folks that live here. Nicer people you will not find. We have been motor homing for a little over 25 years now. We started with a conversion van but now enjoy the comforts of a very nice class A motorhome.

I was born in Michigan, number 4 of 6 kids. We were the typical small town family and enjoyed the benefit of good parents. Although we were quite poor, I have a lot of very fond memories that includes family camping. After a stint in the Air Force, I worked in the defense industry as a Quality Control Engineer for several years. I learned to fly during that time and it became a career.

My flying career has spanned almost 40 years, primarily in charter and corporate flight departments. For the last 10 years we lived in Columbus, Ohio where I was Chief Pilot for a real estate development company. We operated Gulfstreams worldwide. I have accumulated over 18,000 hours as a pilot. I retired from full time flying in December 2005. I now spend most of my time building this little company to market our water filtration system. It has taken years to develop this system and find the right suppliers. But it has been worth it. I have a few other ideas that will make RV life better and will be working on these projects as time and money permit.

Gerri, my wife, is my rock. We raised two boys with all of the trials and tribulations inherent therein, and along the way have had a wonderful life. Not without a lot of stress and worry, but together we managed to get through the rough times.

Gerri is from New York City originally and of Sicilian descent. She is a true friend to all she meets, unless she is taken advantage of. When that happens, well, lets just say she is her own person and handles herself effectively. Her sister and mother live in Florida. Gerri has worked as a secretary most of her adult life and now runs the “front office” of our little business.

Our RV life has been more of a requirement to me rather than an option. Most of my professional career I have had to eat in restaurants and sleep in hotels while away from home. When we travel for our own purposes, I want to sleep in my own bed and not eat restaurant food. The motor home allows me to do this. I also get the chance to see up close what I have viewed from 40,000 feet for so many years.  It is amazing to me that the distance covered in one hour of flight takes at least a day to travel in the RV. And, what a wonderful way to see the country.

If you find yourself traveling through our area, please give us a call. We would love to meet you. If you have never been to this part of the country, you owe it to yourself to come take a look. There are more campgrounds here than you can imagine. Lots of shows in Pigeon Forge along with Dollywood and a huge water park all waiting for you. Just down the road is Gatlinburg. Another jewel waiting to be discovered. Of course, the National Park is an experience not to be missed.

Our plan is to continue to travel in our motor home and visit with as many people as we can along the way. People that RV are a unique group. Whether they have a pop-up tent camper or a 2 million dollar castle on wheels, they are almost always warm and friendly. I think the common denominator is our love of travel and the outdoors. There is something about heading out on the open road with an RV that we all feel. We can leave our worries at home and for a short time have nothing to do but enjoy life and family. So, here’s hoping we have the chance to “set a spell” and visit with you. With any luck, there will be a campfire going and a good cup of coffee waiting for you. Made, of course, with the best water in the world. Water from our filtration system.
